UK SAME DAY DELIVERY RATES
(charged one way only)
e.g. Citroen Berlingo Manchester to Birmingham
86 miles x £1.00= £86.00
Local Rate £30 for the first hour after collection,
then Mileage Rate will apply
SPECIAL CENTRAL LONDON SAME DAY RATE £180.00
( Plus Congestion Charge if Applicable)
(delivery normally within 4.5 hours after collection Traffic Permitting)
ADDITIONAL CHARGES
Where applicable. Any congestion or Toll charges will be added at Face value
WAITING TIME
Incurred at collection or delivery point is charged at £15.00 per hour after the first 30 minutes.
RETURN JOURNEYS
Where a Courier is booked to deliver and return with a consignment, the return portion of the journey will be charged at 50% of the mileage rate, assuming that the return journey has to be done immediately.
MULTIDROP DELIVERIES
When multiple delivery addresses are given in one booking, usually within a defined geographical area, this can be carried out. The mileage charge will apply to the destination. Then £30 hour until the deliveries are completed.
EXTRAORDINARY COSTS
Such as parking charges incurred whilst waiting, or fees incurred (e.g. for legislation of documents), will be charged in addition to the original quote.
DEDICATED EUROPEAN DELIVERY RATES
Unlike sending goods abroad by air transport or 3rd party road transport services, we do not charge by the package weight and dimensions. I charge an inclusive ‘per delivery’ rate made up from the following considerations.
Mileage/diesel costs.
Ferry/ channel tunnel costs.
Tolls (if appropriate)
Additional driver expenses (such as overnight accommodation /meal expense)
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY RATES
Prices are quoted individually according to weight, dimensions and destination of consignment. I also need to know the nature of the goods being consigned for customs purposes as this varies from country to country.
